Fairfield thumped its Greater Miami Conference foe for a second straight week last Friday, this time defeating Sycamore, 34-9, at Alumni Stadium. Last week, the Indians crunched Colerain, 38-0.

Leading the team offensively was freshman Corrious Booker, who rushed 17 times for a TD and 174 yards, a healthy 10.2 yards per carry. Mason Wheeler also rushed for 74 yards and his own TD with a 5.2 average per carry.

Quarterback Dominic Back threw for two touchdowns and 69 yards. His scoring targets were Kayvon Burns (27 yards) and John Abramson (33).

Also scoring was placekicker Hunter Gagen with a 35-yard field goal and 3 PATs.

Leading the defenders was Marcos Tiderman with 8 tackles and Gabe Ross with 7. Eric Ruther recovered a fumble.

The Tribe, coached by Justin Roden, returns to Alumni Stadium once again on Friday, taking on 2-1 Lakota West in a homecoming battle. West so far has defeated Mason and Hamilton while losing a close game to St. Xavier.
