Fairfield Forward: 8 Indian Athletes Commit to Colleges on Spring Signing Day

One of the last athletic events each year is the third and final Signing Day, where student-athletes confirm their choices for where they will continue both their athletic careers and educations.

Fairfield's Spring Signing Day, held Thursday, May 14, in the FHS Community Room, featured eight graduating Indians. Each student-athlete was introduced by a coach, then spoke to their families, friends and teammates about their futures.

The seniors and their postgraduation plans include:
  • Dominic Back, football, QB: Otterbein University, to study finance
  • Trenton Hampton, baseball, pitcher: Wabash Valley College, to study business
  • Jacob King, wrestling: Wilmington College, to study business
  • Michael LaCue, Jr., football, running back: Hocking College, to study management
  • Jasmine Odubola, basketball, small forward/shooting guard: Concord University, to study marketing and business
  • Kaylie Sharman, soccer, center-mid: Indiana University Kokomo, to study nursing
  • Khalil Small, football, D-line: Franklin College, to study sports media
  • Mackenzie Stroud, soccer, outside back: Indiana University Kokomo, to study radiology

Overall, Fairfield to this point in the 2025-26 school year, has had 16 student-athletes sign. They are:
