The Season So Far … Boys Basketball

1/21/2026 10:31:00 AM

Fairfield's boys basketball team got off to a slow start this season, losing five of its first six games.

However, they have gone on to win five of the next eight games, including a 50-48 overtime win over Lakota East last Friday, and a 48-31 thumping of a then-second place Mason Tuesday. The Indians are currently 3-6 and tied for seventh-place in the Greater Miami Conference, and 6-8 overall.

Senior Cam Arington is the team's leading scorer, at 9.4 points per game, followed by junior Peyton Jones at 9 ppg.

Sophomore Kaiden Jones is third in scoring at 8.5 ppg, plus leads the GMC in blocks with 1.5 per game, and is third in rebounds with 6.2.

Fairfield, coached by DJ Wyrick, next plays Princeton Friday at 7:30 in the Arena.
