Eric Ruther (Senior) – FOOTBALL

"Senior safety and two-sport standout Eric Ruther put on a defensive clinic in Fairfield's crucial 21-10 victory over Mason. Ruther anchored the Indians' secondary with a massive stat line, tallying 6 solo tackles, 3 assists, 2.5 tackles for loss, and picking off 2 passes. With this multi-interception performance, Ruther now leads the Greater Miami Conference (GMC) with 6 interceptions on the season. In addition to his elite play on the gridiron and the baseball diamond, Ruther is a standout performer in the classroom."
