The Fairfield girls wrestling squad – fresh out of a successful GMC tourney where they finished third with four champions – grapple this evening in the sectional tournament at Western Brown High School.

Before that happens, though, let's look back at the recent Senior Night, held Jan. 29 in the Arena against Princeton, Dayton Dunbar and Hughes, where the Indians swept the evening.
Three girls graduating from the squad this year were honored before the match.

They are:
  • Analosa Curtis, 235 pounds, 29-2 with 23 pins, finished 1st at GMC
  • Nicole Perez, 110 pounds, 23-8 with 19 pins, finished 4th at GMC
  • Serenity Sims, 120 pounds
