The Fairfield girls' golf team over the last week and a half posted 4 wins and 1 loss. During this stretch, the team—dominated by five seniors—was led in scoring by sophomore Lana Bowling. During this stretch, Lana Bowling achieved a milestone for shooting her lowest 9-hole round, posting a 46 in the split against Batavia and Edgewood. Her consistency of play not only had her as medalist for two victories but demonstrated the future promise of Fairfield's girls' program. Also, seniors Jordin Adams-Jones and Lily Printz have consistently posted solid scores in the four victories. As the season nears its end, the team still has 10 head-to-head matches along with the GMC and the sectional tournament.
