Congratulations to our Fairfield girls on a great season and a strong finish at sectionals! #FairfieldPride #OneTribe

The Fairfield girls tennis team wrapped up a strong postseason showing at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, as five Fairfield entries took the court against some of the top Division I competition in the Cincinnati area.

Competing at one of the area's premier tennis facilities, the Indians represented Fairfield with pride, determination, and a great deal of competitive spirit throughout the tournament.

In doubles, junior Jillian Marquette and sophomore Sarah Sheehy turned in the day's top performance for Fairfield. The No. 7 seeded duo opened the tournament with an impressive 6-4, 6-3 victory over Mercy-McAuley's Auceillo and Barkman, advancing to the quarterfinals.

Marquette and Sheehy then faced the tournament's No. 1 seeded team from Seton in the quarterfinal round. The Fairfield pair battled throughout the match before falling 6-0, 6-0. Advancing to the quarterfinals was an excellent accomplishment for the young Fairfield doubles team and provided valuable postseason experience against one of the area's top tandems.

Fairfield was also represented by senior Leah Peters and senior Katlyn Arrowood in the doubles draw. The pair faced a strong Sycamore team in the opening round and continued to compete throughout the match.

In singles, senior Mia Reist, senior Madi Przytulski, and senior Emily Taylor each represented the Indians and took on some of the area's strongest competition. Each player competed with determination and represented Fairfield Tennis with pride on the sectional stage.

For the Fairfield girls, competing at the Cincinnati Open and the Lindner Family Tennis Center provided a memorable opportunity to finish the season on a premier stage.

Congratulations to our Fairfield girls on a great season and a strong finish at sectionals!
